What is agave? Agave nectar is an organic plant-derived low-glycemin
sweetener that is sourced from an organic plant in Mexico and the Southwest USA.
Formerly a favorite food of the Aztecs, agave consists mainly of fructose
rather than glucose, which allows it to be absorbed more slowly into the
bloodstream, avoiding the "rush" often associated with refined sugar. Agave is
